Peter Suttill  - Managing Director
Burwood Financial Consultants was founded by Peter Suttill in 1998 in order to provide a specialist mortgage service to customers in and around the Sevenoaks area. Peter started his career working in the City in banking, and has been a practitioner in the mortgage market for over 25 years with the  following qualifications:     - Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers      - Chartered Insurance Institute’s Financial Planning Certificate     - Chartered Insurance Institute’s Mortgage Advice Qualification Peter is a family man with three children, and having moved home six times has a good understanding of the local market and the stresses and strains of moving house. His interests are Rugby, DIY and outdoor pursuits.
	Louise Jones - Administrator
	Louise Jones started her career at the Woolwich immediately after graduating in 1986. She has 20 years experience in the West Kent mortgage market, five of which were as a branch manager. Louise joined Burwoods in 2000 bringing her extensive skills and local knowledge to the firm.  Louise is a mother of a young family and is interested in reading, walking and theatre going. She and her husband recently realised a lifelong dream of building their own home in the local area.

 FEE POLICY

Our policy is that we do not charge fees for placing mortgage business, we consider the commission paid by lenders sufficient to cover our costs. However, as independent brokers we are required to give you the option of paying by fee, in which case we would pass on any commission we receive from the lender to you. The precise amount of any fee charges for placing a mortgage will depend on your circumstances, but typically will be 0.5% of the mortgage value. For example, if you take out a mortgage of £100,000  and our fee was 0.5%, the amount you would pay would be £100,000 x 0.5% = £500.

We also offer a service where we can identify if there is a mortgage product available in the market that can not be placed by intermediaries, such as ourselves. If such a mortgage is identified as being suitable for you then we are able to offer an 'advice only' service in this regard, whereby we would advise you on the best deal for you and you would apply directly with the lender. For this service we charge a flat fee of £195.
